Description

M 78 is a diffuse nebula visible in the constellation Orion. Discovered by Pierre Méchain in 1780, it was included by Charles Messier in his famous catalogue of astronomical objects in the same year.

Im not really satisfied with this picture. I took with with a RC 8" at full FL 1600mm with the ASI 533 MC camera.

I colimate the scope but Im not 100% sure if it is good, I double checked the focus using a Baht. mask and run the AF in Nina. HFR is pretty igh > 4...

So I still have a lot to improve on the scope.
